A day of  Thanks. This is the first year in a couple years where I get to relax a little bit. We are not hosting Thanksgiving this year. The last two years I would not have had time to sit down and write this. This duty falls on my brother and his girlfriend this year. I am thankful for the break. I still have dishes to prepare, and some I prepared last night, but the workload is significantly less. I am guessing next year we will be hosting again, at our new home. So I will relish in this brief break.

I am thankful for my little family until. That goes without saying. My husband and I have been blessed with a truly brilliant and loving little boy. He amazes me every day. Sometimes it is scary how smart he is. 🙂 I am thankful that he is healthy and thriving.

This was our night last night. Preparing food for today. He loves to help me cook. Loves it! He gets on his step ladder and helps me do things on the counter. He had fun with the vegan, low fodmap, pumpkin cookies! He even ate the dough. It was his first dough eating experience.  I am so thankful that we were able to spend a family night together, preparing some eats and beginning our Christmas decorating. I am thankful to be the kind of mom who lets her kid dig in while she is baking. Sorry family, but at least they are baked in the oven, so Jack germs are probably gone. Anyway, his germs are the cutest germs.

And now I am off to do at least 40 minutes of mat work, then get ready for my day. I am thankful for my Pilates training. I am getting closer and closer to mat teaching every day!
